The report begins with a piece to camera from the reporter, relaying information that had previously been reported in print. The sequence of images that were shown during the report included police cars outside the crime scene, and some shot of movement around the house.
An interview with the neighbour that called the police and witnessed a suspect being arrested follows. The report is fairly simple and plain, but considering nothing much has developed since the initial report, and it being quite a morbid story, it ticks all the boxes.
It is wrapped up by an update from the hospital on the surviver’s conditions. The only information that was truly new in the report.
